The rhythm of progress beats ever louder in our beloved hometown as the construction of the 500-Block has officially kicked off! While we may have missed the ceremonious start date, the fervor and momentum of development now pulse through the veins of Windermere.
As we stride forward into this transformation, it’s only fitting to take a moment to reflect on the journey that has brought us to this point. Our recent blogs, "A Building's Final Bow" and "Rebirth of the 500 Block" pave the way from what was, to what will be. Now, with boots on the ground and hammers in hand, the vision articulated in those words is taking tangible form.
Last weekend, we ventured to the construction site for a sneak peek. The scene was one of bustling activity and purposeful motion. In that brief snapshot, we knew that the site would evolve swiftly. Today, as we glance back at those few images captured, we're struck by how much has already changed. In less than two weeks, footers have been laid and blocks stacked up to the soon-to-be-roofline!
As we look ahead, we're filled with excitement for the possibilities that await us. We'll soon start design work for our own new workspace that'll be located on the 6th Avenue side of the project. Mostly, we're excited about meeting our new neighbors and forging connections that endure.
